The Future of Technology Summit 2017 will take place on November 2nd on Washington, D.C. and aims to spark conversation among today’s education leaders on the latest tech advancements altering the way we live, work, and connect. In addition, it is now running an amazing essay competition!!
The purpose of the competition is to feature the voices and ideas of the next generation at the Summit, at which the boldest minds in technology and leadership will discuss these same issues.
The idea is that students reflect on how technology touches their life and how rapid advancements might change the way we live, learn, work or connect with others in the future.
They should base their answers around today’s newest fields of technology such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, augmented and virtual reality, etc., or use their imagination to describe completely new technologies impacting the future.
They may want to consider:
How might technology of the future differ from technology today?
How might people or the environment benefit from these technological advancements?
Are advancements in technology always good? How might they create new social challenges or problems?
